Phlebotomist IOP

Labcorp

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Lafayette, Louisiana patient service center. The role involves collecting blood specimens, processing patient data, and delivering customer service across multiple collection sites with a schedule of Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 8am-4pm, plus Tuesday 8am-8pm.

Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all ages
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
Enter patient information and process billing data accurately
Prepare collected specimens for laboratory testing and analysis
Provide exceptional customer service and perform administrative duties as needed

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
Minimum three months phlebotomy experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime
