Growing together.Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pmPrimary Responsibilities: Demonstrate Leadership and Analytical Thinking capabilityOrganizes workflow to ensure accurate and timely team performanceSupervises the work schedule, ensuring adequate and appropriate coverage of all positions at all timesSelects, and delegates training and orientation of new staff; assigns staff responsibilities, and evaluates performanceCounsels employees on problem areas of registration and performanceWorks with staff to develop personal development plans, identify areas for improvement, and improve performancePerforms interviews, performance appraisals, provides coaching and feedback to staff adhering to the policies and procedures of the admitting departmentProvides input for, and ensures staff compliance with, established organizational policies, objectives, safety, environmental and infection control standardsPossesses knowledge and ability to leverage technology, optimize the utilization of internal resources and improve the quality of work and information flowsParticipates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings as assignedAttends, and sometimes leads departmental meetings and contributes with suggestions, ideas and methods to improve quality of department / hospital operationsReviews operational reports, identifies opportunities and problems and makes recommendations for improving customer service, patient throughput and process flowGenerates enthusiasm and commitment among Saint Francis Memorial Hospital employees; fosters and reinforces tan based resultsYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear directions on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED2+ years of supervisor/leadership experience in an acute care hospital setting or medical office2+ years of healthcare related experience in registrationIntermediate level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and GoogleIntermediate level of healthcare computer software i.e. imaging, billing, and reporting experienceIntermediate level of experience working with insurance including Commercial Contracts, Managed Care, and Government Programs including Federal, State and local agenciesKnowledge of basic medical terminologyProven ability to work a flexible shiftPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $60,200 to $107,400 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
