Responsibilities of theAdmissions & Marketing Coordinator:

Coordinate marketing and relationship building on behalf of the facility
Act as a liaison between the facility and the outside community
Position has daily contact with potential referral sources including hospitals, physicians, insurers, case management companies and health care agencies
Develops strategies to maximize admissions of residents requiring care
Collaborate with outside agencies on referrals and coordinate transitions to facility

Conducts facility tours for potential residents and families; ensures that information is available for others that conduct tours
Receives resident referrals and disseminates information to decision makers
Conduct admission screening of potential patients; determine level of care, services required, equipment needs and insurance coverage, as indicated
Offers support to families through the admission process and throughout stay
Engage and actively participate in facility team atmosphere
