Position Summary The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and executing Public Information & Education (PI&E) initiatives that support Blue Line Solutions' law enforcement and government agency partners. This position works closely with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and agency partners to develop clear, accurate, and engaging public-facing communications that educate communities about traffic safety programs, enforcement initiatives, program launches, and other public safety efforts. The Marketing Coordinator will help agencies communicate the purpose and benefits of their programs through educational materials, digital content, community outreach, media resources, and other communication channels. This individual will coordinate PI&E campaigns from planning through execution while ensuring messaging is accurate, professional, consistent, and aligned with Blue Line Solutions and agency expectations. This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role for someone who enjoys communication, writing, project coordination, community engagement, and turning complex information into messaging the public can easily understand. Key Responsibilities Public Information & Education (PI&E) Coordinate Public Information & Education campaigns for Blue Line Solutions' agency partners. Develop PI&E plans and materials to support new program launches and ongoing public safety initiatives. Help educate communities on the purpose, operation, and safety benefits of traffic enforcement programs. Coordinate public-facing communications before, during, and after program launches. Ensure PI&E messaging is clear, accurate, consistent, and appropriate for the intended audience. Maintain PI&E timelines, materials, approvals, and deliverables for multiple agency programs. Serve as a resource for agency partners needing communication and educational support. Content & Communications Develop and coordinate brochures, flyers, FAQs, presentations, fact sheets, educational materials, digital content, and other PI&E resources. Translate technical, operational, and program information into clear and understandable public-facing messaging. Assist with press releases, public announcements, talking points, and other external communications. Develop content that can be used by agencies across websites, social media, community communications, and other public-facing channels. Review materials for accuracy, consistency, grammar, branding, and overall quality. Maintain templates and standardized resources that can be customized for individual agency partners. Agency & Community Outreach Work directly with agency contacts to understand PI&E needs and develop appropriate communication strategies. Support community outreach initiatives related to traffic safety and public education. Assist agencies with communication surrounding program implementation and community awareness. Help coordinate educational campaigns, community events, presentations, and other outreach opportunities. Build positive working relationships with agency representatives, Public Information Officers, community partners, and other stakeholders. Program Launch Support Partner with Sales and Operations to identify upcoming agency launches requiring PI&E support. Develop communication timelines and ensure required materials are completed before program implementation. Coordinate necessary approvals between Blue Line Solutions and agency partners. Ensure agencies have the appropriate educational and communication resources needed for successful launches. Track PI&E activities and deliverables across multiple programs and jurisdictions. Marketing & Public Relations Support Partner with the Marketing team to ensure PI&E materials align with Blue Line Solutions' overall brand and communication standards. Support public relations and external communication initiatives as needed. Assist with customer communications, community outreach initiatives, and educational campaigns. Coordinate with outside designers, printers, media vendors, or other partners when necessary. Support additional Marketing initiatives, events, conferences, and community programs as business needs require. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Operations, Product Management, and other internal teams to gather information needed for PI&E initiatives. Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers and agency contacts to understand individual program needs. Ensure internal stakeholders are aware of PI&E timelines, deliverables, and outstanding approvals. Maintain organized documentation and communication regarding active PI&E projects. Identify opportunities to improve and standardize the PI&E process as Blue Line Solutions continues to grow. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, Public Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience. 2–4 years of experience in communications, marketing, public relations, community outreach, public information, or a related field preferred. Strong professional writing and editing experience. Experience developing public-facing communication or educational materials. Experience managing multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously. Experience working with government agencies, law enforcement, municipalities, or public safety organizations is preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and common marketing or design platforms. Basic graphic design or content creation experience is a plus. Exceptional communicator and strong writer. Reporting Relationships This position reports to the Director of Marketing and works closely with Sales, Operations, Product Management, Regional Sales Managers, agency partners, and other internal stakeholders.
