Financial Analyst

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 | Bonus/Other Comp: N/A Soni is partnered with a client seeking a Financial Analyst to join a growing FP&A team within a PE-backed organization in Nashville. This role is heavily focused on data-driven financial reporting, variance analysis, and building scalable reporting tools as the team continues to expand its FP&A and analytics capabilities. This is an opportunity to join a build-out environment, where you’ll help strengthen financial reporting infrastructure, support Power BI expansion, and improve forecasting and decision‑making processes across the business. Responsibilities Prepare monthly financial reporting and perform P&L variance analysis Build and enhance financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and quarterly planning Develop and improve reporting dashboards and data tools , with a focus on Power BI expansion Analyze revenue, expense, and KPI trends to identify insights and risks Use Excel and SQL to manipulate and analyze large datasets Support month‑end close and FP&A reporting cycles Translate complex financial data into clear insights for leadership decision‑making Partner with FP&A leadership to improve reporting accuracy, automation, and forecasting processes Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field 2–4+ years of FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance experience Strong understanding of month‑end close and FP&A cycles Advanced Excel skills (must be highly proficient) Strong analytical skills with ability to work through large datasets Strong communication skills and ability to simplify complex data Preferred Experience with Power BI and/or dashboard development Exposure to SQL or data reporting tools Experience in a PE‑backed or high‑growth environment Healthcare experience is a plus (not required) NetSuite exposure helpful but not required Compensation $80,000 - $90,000 Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job‑related qualifications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
