Job TitlePhysicianDutiesDuties include but are not limited to:Administration of general anesthesia (inhalation and intravenous) including invasive monitoringAdministration of regional anesthesia including: spinal, epidural, and peripheral nerve blocksPlacement of venous cathetersPlacement of arterial catheters and interpretation of arterial pressures and waveformsPlacement of pulmonary artery catheters and interpretation of pressures/wave formsAirway management including cricothyroidotomyManagement of ventilator dependent patients and on lung ventilationAssessing, consulting and preparing patients for anesthesiaManaging patients undergoing cardiac and thoracic surgery procedures including open heart surgery-on and off pump, valve replacement, laser lead removal, ventricular assist device and intra aortic balloon deviceAssisting with creation of policies and standard operation procedures for safe operations of the operating roomWork Schedule: Monday-Friday, hours are based on needs of the service
