Organization: Tom’s Door Position Type: Part-Time / Flexible Schedule: Self-managed. 2 - 3 grants per year Tom’s Door is seeking an experienced, organized, and self-motivated Grant Writer to help expand our ability to provide emergency assistance to individuals and families in the Roaring Fork Valley. For 25 years, Tom’s Door has operated with a simple mission: to provide emergency assistance to people facing unexpected hardships and help create greater stability during difficult times. The Opportunity This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and managing their own schedule. There are no set daily hours . We are looking for a reliable professional who can organize their workload, communicate regularly with leadership, and manage their own deadlines. Responsibilities Research grant opportunities that align with Tom’s Door’s mission Prepare and write approximately 2–3 grant applications per year Gather information, data, budgets, and supporting documents needed for proposals Maintain a calendar of grant deadlines and reporting requirements Communicate with the Executive Director and leadership as needed Track submitted grants and funding outcomes Help develop reusable language and materials for future grant applications The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: Has grant writing or nonprofit fundraising experience Is an excellent writer, researcher, and editor Is highly organized and detail-oriented Can work independently with minimal supervision Is comfortable managing their own time and priorities Takes ownership of deadlines and follows projects through to completion Has a heart for helping people and strengthening our community Issue Area(s) Other Community Priorities Population Served Families, Homeless, Immigrants, Refugees or Ethnic Groups, Low-income communities, Military/Veterans, People with Disabilities, People with Health-based Concerns, Older Adults, Youth/Children Requirements Age Minimum (with Adult): 18+ , Minimum Age:18+ #J-18808-Ljbffr
