Patient Population (Diagnoses): Acute Coronary Syndrome, Bipap/CPAP with compromised gas exchange, Cardiac diagnosis requiring closer monitoring, minimally titrating inotropic/vasodilator/antiarrhythmic/anti-platelet drips, Post PTCA/stent with arterial/venous sheath, Drug toxicity requiring advanced monitoring/frequent observation, ETOH withdrawal patient with high potential of airway compromise requiring frequent sedation, thrombolytic therapy for ACS or vascular patency, major vascular surgery or leg by pass with comorbidities, Hypotension/hemodynamic instability, insulin drip therapy, Heart Failure, Carotid surgery, Electrical cardioversion, Active rewarming for temperature regulation.

Age Range: Adult. Special Equipment: Respiratory available 24/7 for support, Anesthesia available 24/7 for support, Who manages ventilators: Only home vents on unit. Unit Specific Procedures and Protocols: Insulin drips, cardiac drips, starting IVs, post cardiac cath. Additional Unit Specific Information: ACLS trained required, telemetry required.

CRU - MUST START IN THE NEXT WEEK, LICENSE ON FILE AT TIME OF SUBMISSION. Rates are tiered based on mileage - measured by direct line not driving distance. Travel (101 miles+), Radius (51-100 miles), Local (50 miles or less). RN for PCU: Will be assigned to float team. A minimum of every other weekend and/or schedule adjusted to meet the needs of the unit and patient care. Requirements: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS required; NIHSS required prior to start. Minimum of 1 year tele experience required. Epic experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable. IVS to OFFER Monday to Sunday. No block schedules for any reason.
