Night Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.

Job Description

The Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patients' vital signs, interpreting dysrhythmias, and managing various medical/surgical patients. This role requires the ability to float as needed and work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide patient education and support.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient management.
• Ensure adherence to isolation precautions and safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a telemetry unit.
• Current NJ state nursing license.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
