Job Description

Our client is looking to secure CDL (A or B) Driver) who will also assist in the warehouse.

In this role, you'll operate large box trucks within route driving to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills, handle various freight types, and contribute to a reliable supply chain that keeps businesses moving forward.

Duties

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition, including brakes, lights, tires, and load security
Manage route driving responsibilities with a focus on punctuality and safety while navigating urban and rural areas
Handle specialized freight such as refrigerated goods or tankers with care to preserve product integrity
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, load status, and any issues encountered during transit
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, inspections, load details, and delivery documentation in compliance with DOT regulationsSafely operate flat-bed tract

Experience

Proven truck driving experience with a VALID CDL (A or B) license
Experience in route driving with a focus on safety and efficiency
Knowledge of freight handling procedures for different cargo types
Strong understanding of DOT regulations related to commercial driving and vehicle maintenance requirements
Delivery driver experience that highlights reliability, punctuality, and excellent customer service skills
