Senior Landscape Architect

Responsibilities Conduct site analysis, site planning, vehicular and pedestrian circulation, site grading, storm drainage design and landscape design Serve as the primary contact to clients, consultants and public agencies on all assigned projects Coordinate with other disciplines, write and edit site and landscape specifications, and select landscape and pavement materials Provide construction administration as needed Prepare marketing materials for obtaining work from internal and external clients Perform other duties as needed Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Civil Engineering A minimum of 10 years experience Professional registration Experience with large‑scale master planning AutoCAD and Photoshop Extensive experience in all phases of landscape architectural projects and their management Excellent oral and written communication skills and working in a team environment Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee‑owned culture is a must Preferred Qualifications Produce drawings and lead landscape architecture scope independently Experience working with Architecture + Transportation projects / teams Be able to support project leadership for our team (technical questions, project management, fee / schedule development) Has experience working in Washington / Seattle and existing relationships with local county / cities Support team staffing / projections Location United States - Washington - Seattle Schedule Full-time Employment Status Regular Job Posting Date May 14, 2026 Equal Opportunity Statement At HDR, we are committed to the principles of employment equity.
