Radiologic Technologist Cardiac and Vascular

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience; Bachelor's Degree in radiologic technology preferred.
• Three years of technical experience preferred.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification preferred.
• Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Fluoroscopy (FLUORO) certification required.
• Prevention and Management of Violent Behavior (PVMB) or related certification required.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Operate diagnostic imaging equipment to produce contrast-enhanced radiographs of the cardiovascular system during procedures.
• Position and immobilize patients on examining tables using appropriate protocols.
• Assist physicians with specialized procedures.
• Provide clinical care using advanced technical and organizational skills.
• Mentor and train staff on technical skills.
• Participate in hiring and promotion decisions for staff.

Compliance / Notes:

• Variable shift hours may apply, including evenings and weekends.
• Call required after hours and every other weekend.
