InfiniSource Consulting Solutions (ICS) is a 150+ employee government contractor specializing in Management Consulting, Information Technology, and Professional Services to the federal government. Description Warehouse Specialist functions as a warehouse worker and driver in the Furnishings Warehouse performing storing, inventory, and delivery duties. Must have knowledge in Army ranking. Responsibilities Works as a member of a team for deliveries and pick‑ups of furnishings. Exerts a high degree of physical effort to move, deliver, load and unload furniture within the warehouse, on installation sites, and outside the installation. Assists the supervisor and unit management in inventory control, storage, acquisition, and property disposal. Operates various vehicles up to approximately 26 ft. to pick up and deliver furniture. Performs or oversees minor vehicle maintenance and makes judgments regarding loading and arranging cargo for pick‑up and delivery. Ensures safety procedures are followed and maintains a good driving record. May perform other related duties to meet the organization’s needs. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent. 2 years specialized experience in DoD (preferred). Valid driver’s license. Knowledge of first line maintenance of a 26 ft. box truck. Knowledge of standard warehouse loading and storage techniques. Ability to use MHE to move, manipulate, and store furnishings. Must pass DoD physical and background investigation. Beginner to intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn additional software (advanced applications preferred). Ability to enter data accurately into databases. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Interpersonal skills to work cooperatively with all levels of management and staff. Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to use general office equipment such as fax, phone, copier, scanner, printers. Ability to follow a process. Strong professional customer service skills. Strong decision analysis and problem‑solving skills; ability to draw conclusions and justify decisions. Ability to learn and understand corporate policies and procedures. Basic mathematical computation skills. Self‑motivation and ability to work independently. Ability to multitask. Working Environment A fast‑paced, multi‑tasking customer service–oriented environment requiring efficient performance. Adaptability to changing schedules and tasks is necessary; overtime may be required. Physical/Visual/Mental/Environmental Demands Physical demands include lifting, carrying, and moving heavy furnishings and operating vehicles. Employees must be able to work in a warehouse setting and maintain safe practices.
