Job Title: Test Engineer P&C 1

Location: Atlanta, GA (onsite)

Contract: 36-Months

Required Experience and Education:

• 3-7 years of related experience
• Accredited bachelor's degree in engineering

Job Responsibilities:

• Test Planning & Execution:
• Develop and execute detailed test plans for Protection & Control (P&C) systems.
• Validate P&C system performance, safety, and reliability against specified requirements.
• Testing Procedures & Methodologies:
• Implement and manage testing procedures, tools, and methodologies for comprehensive evaluation of P&C systems.
• Evaluate systems in various scenarios and conditions to ensure thorough testing.
• Collaboration & Communication:
• Collaborate with design engineers, developers, and product managers to understand system functionalities.
• Derive accurate and meaningful test criteria based on system requirements.
• Data Analysis & Reporting:
• Analyze test data to identify deviations, anomalies, or issues in system performance.
• Provide detailed reports and feedback to stakeholders.
• Recommend modifications, enhancements, and updates to P&C systems based on test results and analysis.
• Compliance & Documentation:
• Ensure testing activities comply with relevant regulatory standards, industry practices, and organizational quality assurance protocols.
• Create comprehensive documentation of test protocols, results, analyses, and recommendations.
• Facilitate transparent communication and future reference through thorough documentation.
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostic Support:
• Participate in troubleshooting and diagnostic activities to identify and resolve issues discovered during testing.
• Collaborate with technical teams to facilitate solutions to performance issues.
• Equipment Maintenance & Calibration:
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable testing outcomes.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to refine testing methodologies.
• Stay updated with technological advancements and industry trends related to P&C systems and testing.
• Relationship Building:
• Build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering teams, and/or vendors.
