Commercial HVAC Service Technician 1 HVAC Service Technician I – Columbus, OHPerfection Group is searching for a full-time, early-career HVAC Service Technician to serve customers in central and west Columbus and the surrounding area. Residential, commercial, installation, maintenance, or other relevant HVAC experience will be considered.We're looking for someone dependable, mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and willing to contribute to the team. You'll work alongside experienced technicians, receive ongoing technical development, and gradually take on greater responsibility as your skills grow.Hourly pay for this position ranges from $20.00 to $24.00, based on relevant experience, technical ability, and certifications.What You'll DoAssist with and perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial HVAC equipmentDiagnose basic electrical and mechanical HVAC issues with support from experienced techniciansClean, adjust, and repair systems and componentsPerform preventive maintenance and help identify emerging equipment concernsFollow established safety practices and company proceduresCommunicate professionally with customers, teammates, and leadershipReceive technical direction, hands-on coaching, and continued trainingDevelop the skills needed to independently service increasingly complex HVAC systemsWhat We're Looking ForCompletion of an HVAC trade school or technical training program requiredOne to three years of HVAC-related experience preferredPrevious residential, commercial, installation, maintenance, or service experience will be consideredEPA Section 608 certification requiredValid driver's license and an acceptable driving recordFoundational understanding of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systemsDependability, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learnAbility to work safely, take direction, and contribute to a teamProfessional communication and customer-service skillsAbout Perfection GroupWe believe a well-managed facility can transform our world.
