Environmental Health and Safety 
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an  Environmental Health and Safet  candidate for a company based in Dalton, GA. In this role you will have the opportunity to work for a company that values safety and takes pride in environmental stewardship with a "green thumb" mindset. 

Pay Rate
Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm.

Environmental Health and Safety Duties and Responsibilities

• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, document findings and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence. 
• Maintain safety records, reports, permits, and compliance documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements. 
• Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforce safe work practices throughout the facility. 
• Assist with emergency preparedness, evacuation drills, and incident response activities. 
• Collaborate with management and employees to develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives. 

Environmental Health and Safety  Qualifications  and Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree in occupational safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. 
• Previous experience in Environmental Health & Safety, manufacturing, warehousing, or an industrial environment required. 
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, workplace safety standards, and environmental compliance practices. 
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to train and interact with employees at all levels. 
• Employment is contingent upon successfully meeting all background screening and compliance requirements.

Job Type  
Full-time, long-term temporary, full benefits after year of service
