Pay Rate: $ 2,300 To $ 2,560 /Week

Contract: 13 Weeks


Schedule: Day Shift | 4x10-Hour Shifts with Call Rotation


Experience: Operating Room nursing experience required (CNOR preferred)

About the Role


We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Gardner, Massachusetts . The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care by collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient surgical procedures while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and sterile technique.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized perioperative nursing care throughout the surgical process.
• Prepare operating rooms, maintain sterile fields, and assist with patient positioning, surgical counts, and specimen handling.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and efficient surgical procedures.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and monitor patient status while documenting all care accurately in Meditech EMR .
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, patient safety standards, regulatory guidelines, and perioperative best practices.

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
• Current BLS Certification required; ACLS required upon hire or obtained within 60 days.
• Previous Operating Room nursing experience required; CNOR certification preferred .
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, sterile technique, multitasking, and teamwork skills in a fast-paced surgical environment.
