Biosecurity QA Specialist

Salary: $113,000 - 153,000 per year Requirements:

• We need experience in quality assurance, auditing, or training, ideally in compliance, agricultural technology, or a software-with-service environment, with scope and responsibility at a senior level.
• We value working knowledge of livestock biosecurity risks and protocols; swine production experience is a plus.
• We require strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to give clear, constructive feedback.
• We prefer comfort using Orbit Control and HubSpot, along with interpreting quality and performance metrics.
• We look for experience collaborating across teams with Onboarding, Product, and audit leadership.
• We want a self-starter who can work independently in a remote setting.
• We are seeking someone passionate about quality, coaching, and helping auditors succeed.

• We review submitted audits for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with each clients biosecurity requirements in Orbit Control.
• We identify inconsistencies, missing information, or deviations from protocol and provide corrective feedback to auditors.
• We perform secondary reviews of flagged or high-risk audits to maintain integrity and consistency across the team.
• We monitor auditor performance metrics and document quality trends and recurring issues.
• We partner with the Onboarding Specialist to train new auditors on our procedures, tools, and reporting workflows.
• We create and maintain training materials, checklists, and reference guides that reflect current client needs and best practices.
• We provide ongoing coaching, answer questions, and reinforce quality expectations as auditors build confidence.
• We lead onboarding sessions and shadow reviews for new auditors during their first completed audits.
• We recommend improvements to audit processes, scoring criteria, and quality standards based on observed trends.
• We work with Product and audit leadership to refine our audit tools and workflows.
• We collaborate to ensure client-specific biosecurity rules are accurately reflected in training and audit criteria.
• We support onboarding automation and tooling initiatives that improve consistency and help the team scale.
• We track and report key quality metrics, including audit accuracy, review turnaround, and auditor readiness, to leadership.
• We maintain digital records of auditor performance, quality scores, and audit outcomes.
• We summarize audit quality trends, compliance gaps, and training needs for leadership.
