Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Hours per Shift: 5x8 and 2x12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Active RN License required Certifications: BLS required, CNOR preferred Must-Have: Previous Charge Experience required Charting System Experience preferred Description: Specialty: Operating Room RN Shifts will rotate between 5x8 and 2x12 hour schedules. Weekend coverage is required at four shifts per six-week schedule. Holiday work is required as scheduled. On-call duty includes four calls per six-week period with a one-hour response time. First-time travelers are accepted. Patient ratios during the day, night, and weekend shifts are 1:1. Candidates must be comfortable floating within scope without restrictions. Successful candidates will have experience with various surgical procedures. Daily census includes a diverse patient age group from neonates to geriatrics. The position requires compliance with all hospital policies and procedures. Candidates should be prepared to engage in interdisciplinary support and collaboration. Job roles will include scrubbing for various surgical procedures. Travelers will participate in orientation and training as needed. Compliance with immunization requirements is mandatory. Candidates must possess the ability to adapt to varying circumstances and demands. Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety is essential.
