Job Title: First Assist Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: First Assist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-17:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: VA License Certifications: FA / BLS Must-Have: Be able to scrub or first assist. Be willing to take call. Description: The unit includes 4 operating rooms. There are 16 staff members, including 1 RN, 1 ST, and 1 FA per room. Common procedures performed include orthopedic, general, spine/neuro, GYN, and urology surgeries. A team player is considered the best personality fit. Rotating weekends and daily call with other staff members are required.
