Senior System Administrator with Security Clearance

Senior System Administrator Location: Annapolis Junction, MD Compensation Range: $190K-$210K Responsibilities Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems. Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems. Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems. Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Manage dispatch system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process. Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems and install/load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity and configure network components, and implement OS enhancements to improve reliability and performance. Provide in-depth troubleshooting of IT systems and detailed analysis for escalated tickets. Optimize system operations and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Ten (10) years' experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Required Skills Three (3) years of experience installing, configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and using system security (container security, virtual machine security, security boundary enforcement), configuration, and reporting tools. Experience with Windows/UNIX administration and configuration. Three (3) years of experience with ELK, Tripwire, VMware, RedHat SELinux security tool suite is strongly preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cornerstone Defense
