Key Responsibilities

• Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes
• Perform a variety of imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and patient positioning to support diagnostic quality standards
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and facility policies throughout all imaging procedures

Required Qualifications

• ARRT registration required: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT)
• State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license required in California
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
• Fluoroscopy license required in California if operating fluoroscopy equipment
• Venipuncture certification required in California if performing venipuncture to administer contrast materials
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology
• Advanced ARRT certification in CT modality (preferred in California; required in Oregon and Hawaii)
• Prior experience performing CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy in an acute care or hospital setting
