Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Texas Physical Therapy license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
• Ability to provide therapeutic interventions common to post-acute and skilled nursing populations, including mobility training, fall prevention, and restorative programs.
• Ability to document accurately in electronic medical records commonly used in skilled nursing facilities preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with geriatric populations and comorbid chronic conditions preferred.

Assignment Details

• 5 days per week.
• Split between two skilled nursing facilities within Laredo, TX; candidate must be willing to travel between sites during the assignment.
