Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: ACLS AWHONN Intermediate BLS NRP AWHONN Advanced and EFM experience preferred Must-Have: Call and weekend coverage required Description: Seeking an experienced registered nurse for a float pool position. The nurse will float between Labor and Delivery, Client Special Care, and Postpartum. Required certifications include ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP. AWHONN Advanced and EFM experience are preferred. Responsibilities include the administration of medications and patient education. The nurse will conduct assessments and provide care for mothers and newborns. Experience with high-risk antepartum and postpartum management is essential. Candidates must also be adept in fetal monitoring and newborn assessment. Call and weekend work will be necessary as part of this role. Two professional references are required. At least one reference must be from a manager or supervisor. No coworker references will be accepted. Former employees are eligible for consideration after a defined time away from the facility.
