Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join a well-established multidisciplinary engineering and surveying firm with multiple office locations in Alaska and the Pacific Northwest. The firm works with federal, state, municipal, tribal, and private clients, delivering high-quality planning, design, and construction support services. Key Responsibilities Design and develop electrical engineering plans, specifications, and reports for power, lighting, and instrumentation/controls systems Conduct condition assessments and inspections of electrical systems and equipment Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams Mentor junior engineers and delegate electrical tasks Support field work and provide construction phase services as needed Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (minimum) Professional Engineer (PE) license required or ability to obtain Alaska PE license within 6 months 10+ years of relevant professional experience Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Experience with REVIT and AutoCAD; familiarity with ETAP or similar power simulation software is a plus Demonstrated ability to work independently and in team environments Preferred Experience Power, lighting, runway lighting, power generation, telecommunications, instrumentation and controls, SCADA, arctic engineering, hazardous locations, field inspections, and fee estimating Familiarity with CSI specifications; UFGS specifications experience is a plus Seniority Level Mid-Senior level Employment Type Full-time Job Function Electric Power Transmission, Control, and Distribution Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Bluebix Solutions by 2x Get notified about new Electrical Engineer jobs in Anchorage, AK . #J-18808-Ljbffr Bluebix Solutions
