Position: Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Orthopedic Surgery, responsible for providing direct patient care in a 32-bed unit focused on elective surgeries such as joint, knee, hip, spine, and back procedures. Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families. Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Promote patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance, ensuring communication across the care continuum. Develop individualized care plans aligned with standards of nursing care, considering patient preferences and needs. Utilize critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs. Participate in professional development and adhere to safety protocols. Qualifications & Skills Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree required; Bachelor's preferred. RN license required; no prior experience necessary, but Strong communication, assessment, and patient education skills. Additional Details Work three 12-hour shifts, days or nights.
