Field Service Technician

Candidates must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and the ability to drive up to 50 miles to assigned work locations. We are seeking a Field Technician to provide onsite technical support across multiple business locations within an assigned territory. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality end-user support, resolving technical issues, installing and maintaining IT equipment, and ensuring a positive customer experience through responsive and professional service. The ideal candidate possesses strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience supporting a wide range of hardware, software, and networking technologies in a field-based environment. Technical Skills POS Point of sales experience Retail store working experience Plug and play device install Hardware troubleshooting and repair (PCs, laptops, printers, tablets, mobile devices, servers). Basic technical trouble shooting skills Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams. Time management Manage checklist document Customer Service & Communication Strong customer service orientation and enthusiasm for helping users. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical customers. Ability to provide status updates and manage customer expectations according to SLA requirements. Check in and delivering pictures and documentation. Operational Skills Experience using ticketing systems to document, track, and manage installs. Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and knowledge management practices. Ability to identify when issues need escalation to higher-level support teams. Ability to perform in a fast-paced, client-driven environment The rate for this position is between $24.00 - $32.00 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
