Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Projected Start: June 29, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Step-Down setting during night shift hours
• Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, care provided, and outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (compact or Kentucky state license)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PCU, IMC, or Step-Down nursing environment
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS may be required per facility standards
• Ability to fulfill a 13-week travel contract commitment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or intermediate care setting
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Strong adaptability and ability to quickly integrate into new clinical environments
