Sr. Data Architect

UpClear's global headquarters is in New York City and we have satellite offices in London, Paris, and Singapore.We are seeking a skilled Data Architect to design, optimize, and scale our data and reporting layers. This role is also open to contractors. You will focus on building a robust SQL-based data warehouse, improving data models for business intelligence, and leveraging Microsoft Fabric to create efficient, reliable data pipelines. The ideal candidate has experience working with Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) data and understands the nuances of sales, distribution, retail, and customer analytics.Please note: We are not able to provide sponsorship for employment authorization at this time. This role requires 4 days on site collaboration per week. You must be able to commute to our West 22nd Street office in New York.ResponsibilitiesDesign and optimize data architecture to support scalable, high-performance reporting and analyticsDevelop and maintain SQL-based data warehouse structuresImprove and standardize data models used for BI and reporting toolsBuild and manage data pipelines using Microsoft FabricEnsure data quality, consistency, and governance across reporting layersCollaborate with business and analytics teams to translate requirements into efficient data solutionsIdentify performance bottlenecks and implement improvements in data storage and query performanceDocument data models, architecture, and processes
