Technical Architect - Active Top Secret required

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Technical Architect to serve as a trusted advisor to senior customer leadership, aligning lifecycle IT strategy with organizational goals. This role requires the ability to operate independently at both the strategic and technical levels, including performing hands‑on engineering work to validate approaches, reduce risk, accelerate decision‑making, and convey proof‑of‑value benefits to leadership. Responsibilities Serve as a technical advisor to senior leadership on aligning technology strategy with organizational objectives. Develop and implement scalable and secure enterprise architecture frameworks. Evaluate, recommend, and pilot innovative technical solutions. Ensure seamless systems integration, data security, and regulatory compliance. Manage technical debt and lead modernization efforts. Collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver reliable cost‑effective solutions. Mentor technical teams and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Qualifications Top Secret clearance required; must be able to obtain Top Secret/SCI. U.S. citizenship required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred). 10+ years of experience in enterprise IT systems administration. Expertise in technology architecture, strategy, and integration. Strong grasp of enterprise architecture frameworks, compliance standards, and security. Proven ability to lead teams, manage technical debt, and drive innovative solutions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders. Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (retired 2021). Preferred: Azure or AWS Solution Architect, Active CISSP or CSSIP, Microsoft Certified Windows Server Hybrid Administrator. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $165,750 - $224,250 (pay based on experience, location, and contract). Full-time: 40 hours per week. Travel: Telecommuting: Onsite only.
