Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day and Night shifts available (3x12-hour shifts); 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM | Monday through Friday with 2–3 required weekends per 6-week scheduling period

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill neonatal patients in a Level III/IV NICU setting
• Manage post-operative patients, including those with g-tubes and tracheostomies
• Operate and monitor invasive and noninvasive ventilation equipment across various modes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary pediatric care teams to deliver specialized neonatal care
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of total NICU Level III/IV experience, with at least 1 full year in a Level IV NICU
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only) required
• NRP certification (American Heart Association only) required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Must pass a telemetry exam (Pediatric) with a minimum score of 80%, including 100% identification of lethal rhythms; two attempts permitted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with trach and vent management in a neonatal or pediatric population
• Familiarity with a wide range of invasive and noninvasive ventilation modes
• Prior experience in a comprehensive pediatric medical and surgical center
