Mobile Fleet Technician

Fleet Mobile Maintenance (FMM) is seeking experienced commercial tractor and trailer repair technicians. What You’ll Do Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial tractors and trailers. Write detailed work orders and handle mobile road calls and in‑yard work. Provide quality customer service. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair semi‑truck and trailer bodies, systems, and components. Perform preventative maintenance on fleet semi‑trucks and trailers. Maintain hubs and axles, adjusting or replacing them as required. Inspect, service, and replace tractor and trailer parts, including tires. Check and repair brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Test all systems and equipment for performance issues. Ensure trailers meet U.S. Department of Transportation safety requirements. Compile inspection reports, document repairs, and report findings to management. Respond promptly to client queries. What You’ll Need to Have 5+ years of verified commercial tractor and trailer repair experience. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to lift 100+ pounds. Basic computer skills for submitting repairs for billing. Follow oral and written instructions to complete daily tasks. Basic reading and writing skills to complete customer repair orders. What Will Help You Stand Out Experience with welding, certification a plus. High school diploma or equivalent; technical school degree a plus. Class A CDL. Own tools.
