Senior Life Actuarial Consulting Role
Client-facing actuarial consultant. Closer to client-facing consulting than an in-house specialist role, because engagement delivery and relationship management sit alongside technical actuarial work.
Senior Life actuarial consulting role serving US clients remotely. You will support and lead regulatory engagements involving statutory valuation, reserving, risk management, pricing, ALM, and related life and annuity work, while contributing to client relationships and practice growth.
Requirements:
Must have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, or Statistics
- Minimum of 10+ years professional experience in Life insurance, financial services, or consulting
- ASA or FSA designation
- Knowledge of actuarial concepts: financial modeling, statutory valuation, reserving, risk management, product development, pricing, ALM, life/annuity/reinsurance products
- Ability to travel occasionally
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, analytical and statistical skills
- Excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have:
- MAAA designation
- PC skills including Microsoft Office, TeamMate, ACL/Access, Visual Basic, actuarial modeling software
Tools: Excel Access PowerPoint Tableau Power_BI Redshift Other_BI_Tool Domain: Life insurance, financial services, or consulting
