Must-Have Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related technical field.
5+ years of relevant manufacturing/process/advanced manufacturing engineering experience, or 3+ years with an advanced degree .
Medical device or other highly regulated industry experience preferred/strongly desired.
Hands-on experience with laser welding, resistance welding, micro-welding/micro-joining, battery/capacitor manufacturing, or similar thermal joining processes .
Strong process development, process improvement, validation, and problem-solving experience.
Experience with DOE, statistical analysis, process capability , and preferably Minitab .
Experience with DMAIC, Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys, Fishbone , or similar problem-solving methods.
Ability to read engineering drawings/specifications .
Experience working with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing/Operations, Quality, R&D/Design Engineering, and suppliers.
Understanding of ISO 13485, FDA QSR , or other regulated quality systems.
