Job Location UH Lakewood Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri Department Security UHLMC Position Type Full time Work Schedule 6:00PM - 6:30AM Hours Per Week 40 What You'll Do Help create a safe and peaceful environment for everyone in our facilities. Protect people and property while staying alert, calm, and responsive to any situation. Be ready to act fast and smart during emergencies—your actions matter. Support staff, assist visitors, and make sure every shift ends better than it started. What You Bring to the Team A high school diploma or equivalent. Meet (and continue to meet) our Fleet Driving Safety & Compliance Policy. Able to get a Private Security Officer's License under our name within 20 days of hire. Already own or can purchase a Glock .40 caliber firearm within 20 days. Willing and able to requalify at our shooting range annually. Basic computer skills (20 wpm typing). Physically ready to walk, run, lift up to 75 lbs, crawl, or jump into action if needed. Flexible schedule; willing to work overtime and at different locations.
