Join Our OB/GYN Hospitalist Team

We are currently looking for a skilled and board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN to become a part of our OB/GYN Hospitalist service located in Davenport, IA.

What We Offer

• Full-time Employment: Enjoy a schedule of 7 in-house 24-hour shifts each month, with options for part-time and PRN roles available.
• Clinical Responsibilities: Provide care for obstetric and gynecological emergencies in the emergency room and during labor and delivery. You will also manage unassigned patients and accept transfers from smaller regional hospitals.
• Support Duties: Offer backup call for the OB/GYN practice.
• Teaching Opportunities: Supervise first and second-year family medicine residents, as well as one family medicine-OB fellow.
• High Volume: Participate in approximately 1,000 births annually.
• Advanced Care: Work in a Level II NICU with on-site neonatologists.

Recruitment Package

• Compensation: $4,709 for each 24-hour on-site shift.
• Signing Bonus: A $150,000 commencement bonus.
• Loan Forgiveness: Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
• Relocation Assistance: Up to $15,000 for moving expenses.
• CME Allowance: $6,000 for continuing medical education.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board eligible or board certified in OB/GYN.
• Ability to secure and maintain an unrestricted medical license in Iowa.
• Current and unrestricted authority to prescribe and administer medications relevant to your practice.
• Eligibility to work in the United States (J-1 and H1-B candidates are encouraged to apply).
