P-Speech Language Pathologist

Position: Speech Language Pathologist A facility that provides high-quality care for both short‑stay and long‑term patients. Position Overview As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders. You will work with a variety of patients, including those recovering from injuries, illnesses, or disabilities, as well as those with developmental delays or communication disorders. This is a full‑time position, Monday through Friday, with no weekend rotation. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patients' goals Implement treatment plans using evidence‑based techniques and strategies Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, occupational therapists, and physical therapists, to provide comprehensive care for patients Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve communication and swallowing abilities Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records and documentation Stay current with advancements and changes in the field of speech‑language pathology through continuing education and professional development opportunities Qualifications Master's degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited university Current state license or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech‑Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association (ASHA) Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a skilled nursing facility Experience working with a diverse patient population and a variety of communication and swallowing disorders Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Passion for helping patients improve their communication and swallowing abilities #J-18808-Ljbffr Trinity Healthcare Talent Services, LLC
