About the Position

Job Title: OR RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours per day plus call Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Experience in Neuro and all service lines. - Staff must be well versed in all surgical procedures. Description: This position requires a registered nurse specializing in the operating room, with experience in various surgical procedures, including neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic, GYN, general, and Davinci robotics. The candidate must have skills to work in a dynamic environment as we do not have specialized teams for each service line. Charge nurse and OR techs are present on each shift. Staff will be scheduled for five days a week, with on-call requirements on weeknights and weekends. Rotating holiday call is also a requirement. Expectations include flexibility to adapt to a varied daily surgical schedule, teamwork, and a willingness to share experiences and educate others. Nurses must adhere to the fingernail policy and pass a mandatory exam during orientation. Core staff demonstrate a commitment to safety, camaraderie, and exceptional teamwork.
