Surgical Tech (OR Tech)

Location: Torrance, CA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days
Schedule: 4x10s | 6:15 AM – 4:15 PM
Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Pay Rate: $36–$42/Hour

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Tech (OR Tech) to support surgical teams in a fast-paced operating room environment. The ideal candidate will have strong scrub experience, excellent sterile technique, and the ability to assist during a variety of surgical procedures. Neuro experience is a plus.

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures.

• Set up sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment.

• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgeries.

• Maintain a sterile field throughout procedures.

• Anticipate surgeon needs and provide appropriate instruments.

• Handle surgical specimens according to protocol.

• Assist with patient positioning and transport.

• Follow infection prevention and patient safety standards.

• Complete required documentation accurately.

• Minimum 3 years of Surgical Tech experience.

• Active Surgical Technologist License/Registration (if required).

• BLS Certification required.

• CST preferred.

• ACLS preferred.

• Neuro surgery experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, instrumentation, and OR workflow.

• Ability to float between similar units as needed.
