About the Position
Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: PT Specialty: Therapy Duration: 12 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 15:00 Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Licensed Physical Therapist Certifications: N/A Must-Have: - Acute care and rehab experience Description: The position is located in a hospital setting. The unit consists of 285 acute care beds and 16 inpatient rehab beds. The patient ratios are acute 12:1 and rehab 4-5:1. Rehab technologists are available to assist on the unit. Common types of equipment include safe patient handling and standard rehab equipment. Documentation is performed using a specific electronic health record system. The schedule requires five 8-hour workdays from Monday to Friday, with one weekend every six weeks. Flexibility in off days is required for weekend work. The hours are from 08:00 to 16:30. There are no on-call requirements for this position. Floating may be required between acute and rehab settings. Candidates must comply with patient experience requirements. The desired skill set includes evaluations and treatments. The required uniform is eggplant colored scrubs. Awards and recognition within the department include employee of the month and a sunflower award.
