Description:
The position involves working in a fast-paced environment.
The unit cares for patients with multi-trauma, seizures, gunshot wounds, falls, TBI, stroke, and sepsis, among other conditions.
Experience in neuro surgery is essential.
Nurses will be involved in special procedures like craniotomy and spinal fusion.
The nurse will also manage surgical drains, chest tubes, and isolation precautions.
Float requirements apply, with potential assignments to other inpatient units.
Candidates should be comfortable with emergency team assignments as necessary.
This role requires the ability to work a flexible schedule.
Candidates must have a clear understanding of patient care protocols and standards.
Interdisciplinary support is expected in collaboration with physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.
The position involves caring for adults and geriatric patients.
