Desired Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina Special Education License with Early Childhood endorsements required
• Experience teaching preschool-aged students, especially within Developmentally Delayed (DD) programs
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation for early learners
• Ability to foster supportive, positive, and inclusive classroom communities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with families and staff

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans for young students with developmental delays
• Use evidence-based instructional strategies tailored to the needs of 3-year-old learners
• Conduct ongoing assessments and adjust instruction based on student progress
• Collaborate closely with related service professionals, teachers, and families
• Create an engaging, safe, and nurturing environment that supports whole-child development
• Ensure compliance with all state, district, and federal special education guidelines and documentation requirements
