Responsibilities: Assist customers in selecting frames, lenses, and optical products that meet their vision and lifestyle needs Interpret prescriptions and educate patients on lens options, coatings, and upgrades Process optical orders accurately and coordinate with lab for timely delivery Perform frame adjustments and minor repairs to ensure proper fit Maintain and merchandise optical dispensary displays and frame inventory Build lasting patient relationships to drive repeat business and referrals Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals Requirements: Prior optical sales or dispensing experience preferred Familiarity with ophthalmic lenses, frames, and vision insurance plans (VSP, EyeMed, etc.) Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately process orders and prescriptions ABO certification a plus, but not required Comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment Proficiency with optical dispensing software or point-of-sale systems is a bonus About Us: Eye Vision Associates is a trusted optical and eye care provider serving the Nesconset, NY community with a commitment to exceptional patient care and the latest in eyewear fashion and technology.
