Responsibilities Direct, develop, and motivate a team of brand associates to deliver a best‑in‑class customer experience. Partner with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to maximize profitability through customer engagement, merchandising, operations, and community connection. Supervise floor coverage, opening and closing store as scheduled. Provide training and ongoing development of staff in customer engagement and company programs, policies, and procedures. Support financial and operational objectives including expense control, loss prevention, store audits, and weekly reporting. Implement visual merchandising directives and maintain brand standards; ensure merchandise on the selling floor is replenished appropriately. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, standards, and company directives. Model respectful behavior and uphold the integrity and values of VF Corporation and The North Face. Promote an environment encouraging participation, creativity, and learning by sharing best practices. Requirements 1+ years of store management experience in a fast‑paced retail environment. Proven ability to meet and exceed sales results. Flexible schedule availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong prioritization and decision‑making ability in a fast‑paced store environment. Proven ability to drive results through a team. Willingness to learn and share product knowledge and local community experiences with customers. Ability to provide a highly engaging customer experience through service and relationship building. Detail oriented. Proficient computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, and software programs). Preferred Experience in a specialty retail environment, outdoor apparel industry, or outdoor equipment sales. High School Diploma or GED. Physical Demands Operate office equipment and technology such as computers, tablets, phones, and copier. Stand for the entire work shift. Bend, lift, open, and move product up to 50 pounds.
