Filtration Sales Specialist

Cytiva seeks a Filtration Sales Specialist to drive territory growth and profitable sales across the Northeast US, Quebec, and Eastern Canada. The role combines direct sales development with technical expertise in filtration consumables and single-use technologies, requiring a life sciences degree and 2+ years of downstream processing experience. The position reports to the Zone Leader and involves approximately 20% travel within the assigned region.
Responsibilities
- Develop sales strategies and account plans to drive territory growth and profitable revenue
- Identify and manage sales opportunities using CRM software to meet business targets
- Provide technical expertise during product demonstrations, customer training, and sales discussions
- Support filtration consumables and single-use technology sales with both direct prospecting and account manager collaboration
- Establish technical customer relationships and deliver troubleshooting support for complex process challenges
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences or equivalent field
- 2+ years hands-on filtration and downstream processing experience preferred
- Strong English written and spoken communication abilities
- Problem-solving skills applied to customer processes
- Data analysis capabilities for performance and sales reporting
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 35 pounds
Compensation: $100,000 - $130,000 base; bonus/incentive pay eligible
