CT/X-Ray Technologist - Afternoon Shift

Job Description

This is a CT/X-ray Technologist position with a primary focus on Computed Tomography (CT). The candidate will perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and critical thinking, aiming to facilitate accurate diagnoses. Responsibilities include the proper care of clients in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures, as well as possible independent responsibilities assigned by supervisors or directors.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiology and CT scan tasks, including IV insertion and injections.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills in written, verbal, and digital formats.
• Practice infection control in compliance with departmental and hospital policies and OSHA standards.
• Maintain patient confidentiality while operating and troubleshooting CR, DR, CT, and PACS applications.
• Complete annual mandatory education and maintain department competencies as required.
• Supervise and instruct department personnel as determined by the Manager or Director.

Schedule

This position requires availability for an 8-hour shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years current CT experience.
• ARRT (CT) Certification is required.
• Massachusetts Radiology license must be provided.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
• Meditech Expanse experience is highly preferred.
