• Set up and operation of both manual and CNC mills.
• Knowledge of G-codes (preparatory functions), M-codes (miscellaneous functions), and editing is required.
• Ensure all relevant drawings, procedures and instructions are up to date with the current revision level prior to work commencing.
• Operating the machine safely and competently in accordance with manufacturer's operating instructions while ensuring good safety and housekeeping.
• Ensure all components produced meet specifications using appropriate measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, etc.
• Must be able to select suitable tools, inserts, and cutters.
• Candidates will be required to work within very close tolerances and be able to work in a production setting to meet ongoing production quotas.
• Must be able to work with Plastics, Aluminum, Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel
• Read blueprint drawings, job orders, tooling instructions, or standard charts to determine specifications and procedures.
• Perform routine machine maintenance.
• Monitor tool wear, change tools and inserts as required.
• Good work ethic and flexibility to work overtime is a must.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, meet deadlines and stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to contribute to continuous improvement techniques to improve output, quality, cost and delivery.

Must be proficient with precision measuring instruments, have strong math skills, have ability to read and understand drawings and GD&T, have strong time management skills, effective communication skills, and cooperate well with others.
