Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Emergency Room/Emergency Department care for a travel assignment in Peoria, IL. This is an opportunity to work in a Level 1 Trauma Center with a dynamic team in an acute care setting. Applicants are expected to manage a diverse range of patients from minor cases to critically ill individuals.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED

• Provide direct patient care in a 65-bed emergency department
• Manage patient loads with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3-5
• Administer and titrate critical drips and medications
• Collaborate with ED techs and multi-disciplinary teams
• Interpret and respond to cardiac rhythms on Phillips monitors
• Participate in trauma care as part of the team

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED

• Active IL license or confirmation of application process
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ENPC or PALS, TNCC or TNS
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 prior travel assignment
• Experience in a teaching hospital preferred
• Proficiency with vasopressor and cardiac drip management
• Negative drug screen for all panels
