(Last year over 1,100 staff members celebrated their fifth season or more at Deer Valley).PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Housekeeping Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting with the supervision, training, and development of housekeeping personnel while supporting daily housekeeping operations to ensure guest, owner, and employee satisfaction.RESPONSIBILITIES:Supervise housekeeping, common area cleaners, and houseperson staffPlan and distribute assignments for the housekeeping, common area cleaners, and houseperson staff to ensure optimal coverage during peak and off-peak periodsTrain and reinforce cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirementsEnsure proper use of housekeeping equipment and cleaning chemicals including training on safety data sheets (SDS)Collaborate with front desk, operations, and maintenance teams to prioritize homeowner and guest requestsAssist in recruiting, managing, training, developing, and evaluating performance of housekeeping personnelPrepare daily housekeeping "boards" and provide them to housekeepers prioritizing operational needs and shifting assets as neededOversee and follow up on room inspection sheets and tabulate monthly scores to provide to the housekeeping managerMaintain the lost and found department and mail found items to the appropriate addressOversee weekly inventory of housekeeping supplies and order new items as neededRoutinely inspect units to ensure company standards of quality and cleanliness are metMaintain control of all keys and codesPerform timely billing for housekeeping services, including owner stays, owner guest stays, and deep cleaning/inventoryCoordinate and oversee deep cleansCommunicate and dispatch priority requests both digitally and verbally to operations and housekeeping teams.Other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:Previous management experience requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPrior housekeeping experience preferredBilingual (Spanish and English) candidates preferredMinimum of 21 years of ageMust be able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.Possess a valid Utah driver's licenseDATES OF EMPLOYMENT:Year RoundPAY RATE:$24.00 per hourDeer Valley Resort is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
