M&B Office Student Intern

(Huck’s Market) – Corporate Office Department Various Departments (Operations, Marketing, Food Service, HR, etc.) Reports To Assigned Department Supervisor Job Purpose The Student Intern provides general administrative and project support to multiple departments within the Martin & Bayley Corporate Office. This role is designed to give students hands‑on experience in a professional business environment while contributing to daily operations and special projects. Key Responsibilities Perform general clerical duties, including filing, data entry, copying, scanning, and organizing documents Assist with the preparation and assembly of materials such as store sign kits and promotional kits Support kitting and distribution of items for store locations Help organize supplies and maintain inventory for office and project materials Assist with preparing presentations, reports, and spreadsheets as needed Maintain a clean and organized work environment Complete additional tasks and special projects as assigned Qualifications Currently enrolled in high school, college, or a technical program Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to follow directions and complete tasks accurately Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office preferred) Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work independently and as part of a team Work Environment & Physical Requirements Office environment with occasional light lifting (boxes of materials for kitting projects) May require standing, bending, and assembling materials for extended periods during project work Learning Objectives Gain exposure to corporate office operations Develop professional communication and organizational skills Learn project coordination and teamwork across departments Build foundational administrative and business experience Schedule Flexible schedule based on school availability and department needs Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
